Now before i start I love the Saints Row series but I think they got way off track with the Third installment, I think they made it to funny, and crass, and immature. i didn’t take any part of it seriously. I love the dark tone of the first too installments where there was more drama then comedy. The first two had moments where you felt bad for the people that i died and weren’t laughing because he got his face beat in with a GIANT PURPLE DILDO (stupid ass excuse for a laugh, you can be more creative than that) I love the style up date and the voice acting was good but i just want the next games to get more serious and take out the stupid bull **** like Zimos and all the gimp **** and just get back to its gang violence roots.
let me know how you all feel on that matter =]

Yeah, I know what you mean, it is a bit too goofy. I mean, I felt like the goofyness took precedence over everything, including the storyline. Also, I felt like I couldnt create a normal character without making him look like either a hollywood actor/model, a gimp, a hoe, a creature, or a furry lol. I just wanted to create a regular person. It's not that I didnt like all these new additions, but I mean, I wish I could still create someone normal lol And I also agree with the simpleton humor, I mean there might have been a few parts where I laughed, but I mean.. the humor just wasnt doing it for me. I mean, I already laughed at all those jokes in middle school lol. Like... all I can think of is the protagonist saying things in his sarcastic voice over and over again cause they used sarcasm so damn much in this game, I dont even know if the protagonist ever said anything without saying it in a sarcastic tone

Be nice to have a more dramatic story but not a dark story, save that for survival horror, hate to say it but I do like my saints upbeat. not sure how a dark story would even work, but something depressing is well depressing, who wants that in a game? Might as well include that Abilify anti depressant with the game, lol. Keep it real though, maybe the OP meant more gritty, that is ok I guess but not too much please.

I agree.Tbh i found none of the jokes in srtt funny, they felt forced. One of my favorite funny moments from sr2 was when the mc got flashed by a old guy. Sr2 humor came naturally and srtt humor was like something from adultswim, ugh... I also miss the darker moments from sr1 and sr2. Srtt had no balance and it ruined the game for me.
