Who is writing SR4's story?

Well, the title pretty much says it.  If it is the same writing team as SR3, oh god help us.  If I may make a suggestion (Mr Rubin you listening?), spend the money and get Drew Karpyshyn out of retirement.

I'm all for anyone who could pull off a Quentin Tarantino style of writing. Hilarious yet gritty like seriousness. It would be nice if it continues to be a collaberative effort of writers though. If Volition is still using Drew Holmes, they better have got somebody to replace him as lead because I put the blame on him just because of his rank. Alot of those plot holes and childish dialogue needs to go out the window.

Peer review FTW! This was the issue with ME3 allowing Casey Hudson and Mac Waters complete the ending on their own without any peer review.  Look at the mess that made.  Volition should not do the same and put a team together that actually knows the story and will focus on improving it and completing these damn plot holes.

I could write a better story than whoever wrote SR3 and I also know how to save SR4.

Story telling wise, SR really needs to get its act togetherI yell personally. SR2 was amazing despite minor flaws. (like the General's lack of characterization and involvement) but it actually had an entertaining feel. They need to make the story more coherent and feature characters and antagonists relevent to the saints and actually give them an actual motive. Im cool for the saints being over the top but Im starting to forget why they're even doing this and questioning how the government lets them just get away with it.

This series needs a reboot back to he theme of its roots. (Go Military, Anarchy or Terrorist/Not Gangsta) If they made the entire game like the first 2 missions in SR3 and SR4 (Pure Edgy, Terrestial, military focused) I'd enjoy it a bit more. NO ALIENS.

Could not agree with more.  Unfortunately, they are not releasing the story writing team (who they are) for fan peer review comparable to other writings.  Which is rather discouraging for me.  I still think they had a different team between 2 to 3.  But, no confirmation of that.  I am basing that opinion on the body of work itself.

So Deadly, first off, good morning.

Any way we get an idea of the writers for SR4? I know it is a long shot in getting an answer, but, does not hurt to ask.

SRTT had a story?

Im legit not gonna get SR4 if its just a sequel to SRTT with a stupid "over-the-top" everything.

Really, Im embarrassed that I own this game. I feel like if someone finds out that I have this game irl, I would have to explain that it isnt what I hoped for, mostly because its a game for middle schoolers. I'm probably just gonna sell it back to gamestop in the coming weeks if they dont release a competative multiplayer morde, which I'm fairly certain they wont for SRTT, because its too late, they dont listen to their fans, and SR4 is gonna be released some time next year so they are probably already focusing their attention on that.

I'm rolling in the same boat as Solareclipse91 yo.

SR4 with the same or more OTT and crazy stuff = no sale.

Plus I'll hope that the sales die in general too.

@solareclipse91, DUBSTEPPenguin: ngl, I'll probably just borrow it from a friend or something if it's just an SRTT sequel. Like, I might (emphasis on might) want to play it, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to spend money on it.
