I have this exact problem. I haven't recieved any emails at all with my reset password so now I can't login to my account ingame or on here.

Whats more of a problem is that I used the same email on this account as I did on my original, and tested the password reset option, and it worked. So either they lost all former member's account email data, or something worse ...

I think it's even more annoying I can't change my account ingame. It forces me to use the old one.

THe board and system here is reallyhosed bad.

I've been using the same login here for my game account and for the game stats since December.

About a week or so ago began having the login error popup on the site here claiming bad password, blah blah.

I ignored it an dmanaged to always log in by just hammering the My STeelport login.ALways managed to get in.

 Then today the method I used failed and after 30 minutes of trying between sessions of playing with the cat, and

drinking mass quantiies of Wild Turkey, I decided to do what I refused to do for over a week. Hit the 'I forgot my password'

horse ****.

 Okay, get a new random password in the email.

Copy n paste. Manage to get in.

 Fool around for a bit. Log out.

Log back in. Password error/login error.

Imagined I had a dog and imagined I kicked it.

 Recopied the same GD password to make sure, and pasted again.

 Fail.

Typed in manually again.

Fail.

Curse

Resend a request for pass again.

 Repeat login. Succeed again

Reset password to what I had used before anyway.

 Logged out and back in okay.

TUrned around and offered one of my cats a sniff of whiskey.

Cat refused, as expected.

 Logged back in , (yes, still intoxicated) pass failed.

 Repeated my hammer techique I used for past nearliy 2 weeks.

Login succeeded again.

SUmmary. These jerks have a totally ****ed up system. It has been this way for a long time, it recently got worse.

 SHrug.

Not your fault.

 I guess someone there at Volition is thinking this is how to make a good impression with the buying public OR

they really have no one there with a clue OR they have a corporate spy that is working for some other publisher

intentionally messing with their stuff, just to make em look bad. It probably also involves George Bush. who is responsible

for everythign that goes bad.

 Course all that could just be the whiskey and codene talking.

  Feel free to speculate. I'm sure someone has a answer.

Confirmed as well--THQ.com works much better for the password reset.

Exactly same with me. And even this 2nd account just had a hickup saying bad password but the hammering technique appeared to work.... :-/

The worst thing probably is that you can't change the account name the game finds in the Initiation Station, so this new account i made here is useless beyond posting on the forums.
