In directX 10 & 11 mode the game runs slow, i have tried lowering the graphics but that dont work. tried running the game in directX 9 mode but i just get a window saying ''saints row the third has stop working". i know there is a patch that meant to fix this but i dont have steam because one i dont want it just for one game to be updated and two my internet is down (using a friends). So 2 questions is there a other way i can get the update? And how do i get it to run in directX 9 mode? P.S. my pc fills all the requirements to play the game. and every drive is updated. i also have directX 11.

i got the game in a store. then installed it. it never asked me to go on to steam. so can anyone help or must i go get my money back.

This game uses Steamworks, meaning no matter where you bought the game, it requires Steam to play. It is literally impossible for you to play the game without running steam, unless you pirated it.

I have steam, my PC specs can run Saints Row in DX11 but it's plays in slow-mo, i've also installed DX9. but still i can't play Saints Row in DX 9. What should i do? when i open it in Directx 9, it doesn't respond as i open it.

I got this problem too I bought this game yesterday on steam and the game was running in Slow Motion.
I played whith DirectX 10 or 11, and when i try DirectX 9 It gives the same error.
Lowering the graphics doesn't work. I play this game on steam, and im new to it so can anyone tell me where i can download the patch, to fix this problem?

Flash your BIOS to latest driver. Fixes about 90% of problems with bad frames.
