It's only me having problem playing sr3 today? Steam starts but taking forever starting sr3.

Can't speak specifically to your problem, but yes Steam is having widespread issues (beyond SR3) at present.

Also seem to have lost all of my game stats when I look in to my account on saintsrow.com

Well thanks guys, at least now i know that i'm not the only one^^ i've sent a ticket to steam, hope they fix this problem soon!

I have the same problem. The Steam "Preparing to launch..." window comes up, but then nothing happens. I reinstalled the game through Steam about 5 times and then did it manually after manually deleting the game file directory. Still same problem. This had better get fixed by tomorrow.

They fixed it, or it seem so: i played without problems till now.
