Its some glitch that happens because of the DLC I think (THat's what I've heard anyway). Some have even gotten boosted to level 52. but 50 is the cap normally

I am also Respect lvl 51. But the way i think it happend was i bought the last "trade money for respect" halfway through 49. Thats the only reason i can think of, it also acts as if im maxed out. Hope that helped a bit.

50 Is supposed to be the highest level. If you made it above that, it's likely a glitch, possibly caused by the mission pack DLCs as mentioned in a previous reponse.

The highest level is 50. Those gaining higher than 50, what platform are you playing on?
