I cant even get this far, I get oleg and get in the lift and it takes me to the roof and says im abandoning my homies, can anyone help with this?

Try the mission without any mods installed. That "going to the roof" problem is exactly the problem we had in some early, test versions of the mission replay mod, because we weren't loading or unloading one of the zones that we needed to. The elevator isn't supposed to take you to the roof, but rather somewhere inside the building.

try to shoot in head and you kill em much faster, i too playing on hardcore but kill him without help, maybe not from first time same as plane in first mission but kill em.

If you start on direct x 9 mode and lower everything for that one mission you have enough time to kill him.
