I too am having the exact same problem. I've tried changing the difficulty to casual and the results were negative. I'm gonna need help with this.

Success. It was a close one, but i successfully helped one person past the mission using co-op mode. The extremely laggy co-op (a well-known issue) was quite a distraction, i must say.
I'm available for whoever needs it, usually late in the evenings, like 7pm-1am Central (GMT -6).
I need help please :D

Please note that this is generally due to your machine being below minimum spec, which causes this error. Remember that in co-op, we have higher specs needed as well, which is why your co-op may be laggy.

I've unfortunately been having the same problem, which is a shame because I've really been enjoying the game up till now. Ah well, at least theres things to do in the game till it gets fixed. And I can start a new character just to see the dialogue differences.

Would the next update help solve the minimum spec error thereby solving the mission problem? By the way a whole cutscene seems to be missing.

The only way to correct this is to upgrade your hardware and meet the minimum specs that we have laid out. As some people have seen, if you play in co-op with someone above min-spec, then it can work as well.
