since you didnt supply details, best i can think of is something is conflicting with your cordless mouse, possibly even radio frequency mouse. (since idk of any new wireless mouse that 'picks up enough wrong signals' to be conflicting.)

Where possible you should add some info, like, what mouse (type, brand & model) what operating system? are there alot of wireless connections in the area you use the mouse? (assuming it is in fact a wireless one) have you checked the mouse in other applications/games? Does it happen all the time? only in menu? when driving? only when fine-aiming? have you tried changing mouse sensitivity?

Just post any details you think can help pinpoint the issue, obviouslly its not something that happens for all players, else there would have been alot more threads about it.

You don't have any other pointer device, like a touch pad, drawing tablet, or game pad hooked up to the computer do you?

I've run into a few situations where things like that were being activated (controler leaning on a thumb stick, pushing it to one side for example) and caused me all sorts of fits until I figured it out.
