Maybe we should start a Kickstarter fund to help Volition pay for a PC patch? Since it seems that only money talks with the publishers, it may be the only way we can get a patch.

I'd rather go the other route and just not buy anything from Volition. The less money they get from us, the harder they'll have to work for it... or maybe they'll just fold up like many other "HD" developers this console gen.

So I'm going to guess that Volition left the fix to AMD but AMD has relatively little incentive to fix SR3, especially as they were trying to launch their full 7000-series graphics cards. Yeah, we're never seeing this mythical performance patch.

Maybe it's for the better. Who knows if they would mess up the whole errors this game already has with pretty new ones which need to be fixed AGAIN. That thought gives me nightmares - how long that would take (AGAIN). So far no official word on this matter but "we're in talks". No ETA for anything either - after six Months! But hope still remains :)

Nearly half of a year of this thread, maybe in three months the baby will finally pop out.

Pretty unfair that Volition refuses to fix their own game. Either that or they just don't care about their fans, or maybe it's a bit of both. Whatever. Any developer that thinks it's ok to treat their fans this way is not a developer I wanna be supporting. Having said that I will NOT be purchasing any more of Volition's games.
My Specs: AMD Raedon HD 6870 Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @2.40 GHz ASUS P5N-D 4GB Corsair DDR2

This fact almost makes piracy look appealing. *EARTH TO VOLITION, EARTH TO VOLITION* *NO SIGNS OF INTELLIGENT LIFE, IN FACT, NO SIGN OF LIFE WHATSOEVER*

BROKEN - beyond repair. that could be the answer and that would be the logical explanation why nothing was done until now.
