I am using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 275 card with updated drivers and I am getting the problems too, don't think it is just an ATI problem.

Here's to a fix.

I drive a somewhat similar setup, while inside/lookign at the sky or down (jsut slightly) everything runs perfect, looking fla forward leads to extreme framerate loss to unplayable amounts.

You guys have tried to edit the display.ini? [\steamapps\common\saints row the third] fps up to 100 - 120 and set the .ini read only. Maybe it works. ;)

Refresh rate is at 120 by default for me, so doubt that is the problem.

I can't attach my dxdiag because I'm at work at the moment, but I my specs are:

Intel i5-2500k

ATI 6950 2gb

16gb Ram

Windows 7 x64

With the newest Catalyst 11.10 drivers from 10-31-11.

And the game runs like utter crap. Maybe 5-10fps on high settings at 1080p outdoors. It also doens't seem to drop frames, it just moves everything in slow motion, which is even more jarring. I've tried disabling my 2nd monitor, and turning off triple buffering / v-sync and dropping / raising the detail so far with no luck. I dunno. I'm running Battlefield 3 on ultra with no issues, so I feel like it should work.

Indoors the game has usually a good 50-60 frames per second.

Outdoors it drops as low as 20-25.

And I am actually playing on the lowest settings. This is absurd.

This really needs to get fixed.

I got an AMD 6850HD graphics card and 4 gb of RAM. All drivers are updated.

Using a windows 7 32-bit.

Quick update.

First, thank you to everyone for providing your specs. Please remember to give us your Windows version along with 32/64 bit, since that's just as important.

Our PC team is in discussions with the team at ATI/AMD to look into the specific issues all of you are reporting. We do not have an ETA at this point with regard to a specific fix, but please note we are continuing to look into it. Thank you, and I'll post again when I have an update.

Windows 7 64 Bit

i5 750 @ 3.1 ghz

6850 HD

4 gigs of RAM.

Im pissed. Volition said the PC port would be done well. Guess I got had.

The majority of gamers on PC are playing the game without issue right now, as has been shown across various reviews and forums around the world. As I just posted, we're looking to find any issues with ATI/AMD as well and will hopefully have something soon.

I'm on Win 7 64bit, I noticed that using the DX9 version improves performance by a bit.
