I know there are about 20 different Threads already discussing the Weapon Upgrade System but this Threat is not about that. It's a simple Request for Volition to make a small improvement to the Upgrade System with a Patch that allows us to go to lower Weapon Upgrade Tiers after we bought the higher ones and also being able to turn off Dual Whielding and Special Ammunitions like Explosive Rounds.
Actually yeah, it would be very nice to be able to toggle on and off any upgrade feature - not just the weapon ones. And doesn't seem like it would be hard to implement, either. Simply make every upgrade a "toggle", and then lock the toggle in it's off position until it's been paid for, at which point you can turn it off and on.

Needs to be adressed. Simple as that. Should have been implemented at launch. Can't believe they shipped it without this option... Edit: ALL upgrades should have the option to be turned off, not just the weapons.

Ok now i have good news and bad news. Bad News first: In another Thread V-Singular stated that there will be no Changes to the Upgrade System in SR3 anymore. But here come the good News: He also stated that our complaints where heard and will be remembered in the Development of Future Volition Games. So for a potential Saints Row 4 we can atleast hope for a better Upgrade System. And for SR3 there are Modders working on a Savegame Editor that gives us atleast the option to undo our Upgrades. And for Volition: I thank you for making SR3 a ****ing awesome Game and for finally giving an honest Answer. But if i can thank you for listening to the Community we will see once your next Game or the next Saints Row is released. You can close this Thread now and Thank you again for Saints Row The Third, a Great Game. Too bad you couldn't fix it's smaller Problems but that doesn't make the Game any lesser Great.
