Agreed.
I hope V-sing adresses this. There are a lot of people who are not impressed with this illogical system.
If I don't see this adressed soon, I may not get SR 3.
Not because of this problem, but because I will have seen that the developers genuinely don't care.
I have had enough of that in this industry. It's been getting worse, and worse with every developer.
You people would be no where without your fans.
Treat them right.
I can understand you. There are not many Developers who care about their customers anymore. When you ask them to adress small issues they say it's not important enough to be patched if you tell them there is a bigger problem they tell you it's too big to be patched. However i think you should still get SR3 because this Game has much more to offer than this Weapon Upgrade system. There's tons of stuff to do in this Game.
@mttrackmaster38 You don't have to insult people and call them idiots just to make a Point. Yes Eddie_Moon is overreacting by saying he won't buy the game because of that minor thing but insulting him won't change his mind. And you have to admit that he is right about Developers often don't listen to their Customers. Let's just hope that Volition isn't that ignorrant and will Change the Upgrades with a Patch.

I'm buying the game regardless but I would like this sorted out because in 2 I rarely used dual wielding weapons and in terms of the upgrades on guns I would like the ability to downgrade them because judging from what I've seen by the end of the game you'll be god if you buy all the upgrades.

Just watched a few vids and upgrading dual wield is seperate for each weapon type, So you can have SMG's dualed but not pistols...

bumpity bump bump bump, but for real, the weapon system is a let down, the game is going to be amazing reguardless but just like gatonsmostwanted said, youll be a god in the game after you fully upgrade the weapons, and i for one dont want to just decimate the steelport citizens for days on end.... sometime i might want them to stand a chance haha

I agree with this. I like to have variety in my weapons. While I'm hunting around the city doing Hitman missions I want surpressed guns. When I want to take over some gang operations I want explosives, heavy duty guns, explosive shells and bullets. I liked that about SR2. I dont like how the weapon duel weilding is like GTASA where you cannot go back. I support this and hope they fix it sometime soon. But then again, I highly doubt they will

I too wish for their to be an option to turn off and and downgrade. Being god has it's perks and all, but the puny citizens deserve a chance to fight back as Badboynic said.
