I get the "The connection to the community site has timed out" while uploading my character.
I am on the PC through steam, i could log in just fine, and have disabled firewalls and what not.
HELP

Same here... Would have been nice if the Initiation station checked this BEFORE I spent 30 minutes on making a character I can't save........
*Crosses fingers that Saints Row III will be well optimized for PC*

Was getting this, as well. Is there a way for them to save our characters locally on our PC's hard drive and then we can upload them to the site?

ok the thread seems to have been moved to troubleshooting, which probably is the right place for it. thanks for moving it, and bump for answer as to when the community site will be back up, would be much appreciated!

Serious lack of foresight not allowing a local save option. I have to leave my IS minimized in hopes they fix this crap so I don't lose the hour spent making a character

For me the message it timed out flashed on screen and off screen before I could read it. Had to record screen to see what it said. This on the 360 for me. Explains why I have not linked accounts and seems time on makeing some toons 
|
