This is a story I started a few years back. Basically follows the events on aripace island (in my story the districts of steelport are individual cities and steelport is a whole state. Much larger than the game world) It'll tie into steelport eventually, I just wanna get an initial reaction from folks. If you guys have any interest in reading further let me know. Here goes.....

She can't make the machine work. Something in her fading memory tells her it is dangerous,but she doesn't understand yet. She bangs it with her fists,this usually makes her feel better,at least with humans. As her hand grazes the teeth of the machine suddenly she sees everything,the trigger,the pull start,the chain. It all makes sense,but the feeling only lasts a moment,then confusion returns. Still,she feels that spark. Something was there. Some thought other than food, something showed her how to use the weapon,if only for an instant. The frustration returns and she begins banging again. Trying her hardest to take out the monumental aggression that's been a part of her since the day she died. Her hand hits the chain again and a tiny trickle of her black clotted blood drips to the floor of the shed. With the pain comes a memory,now she knows how to bring this machine to life. She can do this. The weapon is hers at last.
