AN: Well, I am doing a new story about Saint's Row. This is being set in the Saint's Row: The Third universe, and the story starts just around the time the mission in which Boss and Shaundi land in Steelport. The first chapter will consist of my male OC and the female leader (or soon to be) of the Saints meeting for the first time in the past when they were teens at high school. Another thing, I will be posting this on the Saint's Row forum, and on my fanfiction account. I am using different names on both sites. On saintsrow.com, I am STL-Eagle, and on Fanfiction.net, I am lilmickey2008. Now that formalities are out of the way, enjoy the story.
Chapter One: Prologue
Michael Harris remembered growing up in Stillwater all too well. First of all, he was forced to move there, and away from the friends and family that he made. Even though he was only ten when he moved there, he hated being there because of what happened with his parents. His parents were Charles and Lori Ann Harris. He loved them both, but it was soon all to obvious to the ten year old that their marriage was at the end. They soon split up, and Michael had to move with his mom. He wanted to live with his dad, but strangely enough, he died soon after they split up and moved to Stillwater. Now he had to live there with his mother and no more father figure in his life. That really did suck, but living here was bound to get worse...
As the time went on, Michael grew into a fine 15 year old. His mom was doing fine, but her work schedule caused for the two of them to literally not be able to talk tOne day after school Michael found himself sitting on the steps of his school when a blonde hair teen took a seat right next to him. Michael took a quick look at her, and tore his eyes away when he found himself staring at her. The teen playfully hit him in the arm, causing Michael to look at her with a confused look on his face.
"Michael right?" The female asked him.
"Yeah, that is my name. Why?" Michael answered.
"Name is Ashley, nice to meet you." Ashley answered, playfully messing with his hair.
"Hi, I guess, Ashley." Michael answered. Ashley stood up, and moved right in front of her.
"Can I help you?" Michael asked in the most polite way possible.
"I have lived right next to you for almost a year now, and we have all the same classes together. Why haven't we hung out before?" Ashley asked.
"Stupid reasons, I guess." Michael stated, running a hand through his long blonde hair. He was sort of caught off guard at her question.
"Okay, we can hang out now. Wanna walk me home?" Ashley asked, holding out a hand to him. Michael shrugged his shoulders, and accepted the invitation. She smiled, and yanked him up the street towards their houses.
As they were walking towards their home. Michael found himself stealing looks at Ashley. Mostly because she was wearing a short skirt, and a t-shirt, but mostly because that the young man soon found himself getting some certain feelings for Ashley. He also found himself growing attracted to Ashley. Ashley stopped walking at a house that was a few away from his. Michael should have kicked himself, realizing that his friend barely lived five minutes away from himself.
"So, here it is. I see your place a few minutes away from mine." Ashley smiled. Michael blushed lightly as Ashley unlocked the door, and stepped inside. She turned around, and gave him a wink.
"I would invite you inside, but my parents don't want me inviting boys inside my home." Ashley grinned. "I will see you very soon."
"See ya, I guess." Michael smiled. Ashley blew him a kiss, and shut the door. Michael felt his face grow warm, and quickly walked back to his home, his mind racing a mile a minute.
As the time went on, Michael and Ashley found themselves spending more and more time with each other. They walked home from school together, and when their parents were gone at work, they would spend time at each other's homes. Needless to say but it will be said anyways, they were growing very attached to each other.
It was one day after school, and Michael and Ashley were walking home. Michael bid Ashley farewell once they got to her home, and Michael went to his home. Michael dropped his bookbag at his front door, and was headed to his fridge. He was just about to open it, when an ear piercing scream shook him. Michael opened his front door and saw Ashley being dragged kicking and screaming towards a van. Michael sprinted towards the man, not even thinking about what was going to happen to him.
"Leave her alone!" Michael screamed at the man. The man looked at him, and threw Ashley to the ground. He took a gun out, and knocked Michael around, laughing as he did so. Ashley had her back to the van, watching in horror as Michael was being pummeled by this man that was twice the size of them combined. The big man turned, and pointed the gun at her. Ashley closed her eyes, and cried, knowing that this was going to be her last moment. She heard a gunshot, and footsteps running away. Strangely, Ashley soon realized she was not hurt.
But Michael was...
Ashley looked down, and saw a friend that she grew to care about bleeding from a wound in his chest. Ashley rolled him over, and he gave her a smile.
"Well, I guess we really are friends now, huh?" Michael laughed.
"Yeah, I guess we are." Ashley laughed, tears falling from her face as sirens were heard in the distance. Michael smiled, and closed his eyes...
A FEW WEEKS LATER
Michael was laying in his hospital bed, staring out at the moonlight. He felt a lot better, but he was scheduled to be here for another week, at the most. He hated being in hospitals, because they reminded him of his dad dying, and that brought up a lot of bad memories as well as new terrible memories. Michael wanted to get some sleep, but he couldn't for some reason. Then he saw a familiar figure at his door.
"Hey Ashley." Michael smiled, inviting her to come in with him.
"Hey yourself." Ashley said in a somber tone.
"What's the matter? Why are you sounding sad?" Michael asked his friend.
"I almost lost someone I cared about, because of some goon." Ashley answered. Michael shifted to one side of the bed, and let her lay beside him.
"Really? Who are you talking about?" Michael asked her.
"You, silly, that is who I am talking about." Ashley answered, playfully smacking his chest. Michael slightly winced at the feeling, but he covered it up by laughing.
"Michael, I want to ask you something, where do we go from here?" Ashley asked him.
Michael thought about the question, but he knew what the answer should be.
"We should just see where this road takes us, and where ever it does take us, but we should be glad that we are traveling it with each other." Michael smiled. Ashley smiled, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She nestled against him, and went to sleep.
AN: I just wanted to get the intro into the Boss's and Michael's relationship out of the way. That explains the first chapter, and in the second one is where the real story starts. Needless to say, everything changes. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more!!!
