Hello, I'm AishaFan. I'm usually a shy person, but I tend to be snarky and sarcastic if somebody is acting like a ****. Personally, as along as you aren't doing something stupid, I might like you. Have a good day. :)

Hi I'm reintroducing myself

I'm AishaFan because I didn't come up with the name "Honorthefallensaints" until I signed up for Tumblr back in May and please excuse my icon he can be rude.

I'm quiet as hell and don't see me posting much expect for FF. Net fic repostings(one I actually type them that is) and my favorite character in the whole insanely awesome world of Saints Row is Carlos Mendoza. I blame the beanie cap. Though my other favorites are Lin, Aisha(derp no shit), Mr. Sunshine, Laura, Mr. Wong, blah blah blah insert character here blah blah blah...

I've haven't been here in months because when I sent a THQ password back in July I think it didn't come until a few weeks ago and so I decided to change my password and here I am right now.

Goodbye.

P.S.: Why am I still up it's 3: 55 AM for God's sake.

Welcome, meh favorite character in the Saints Row franchise is Professor Genki, hands down. Though I've only played Saints Row 2 and 3. If jur not one of those fans that wish Saints Row would go back to its roots, then we'll get along fine. If ju prefer the old school Saints, then we can discuss/argue in another forum c:

Thank you, and I think it's the first time I heard someone say Professor Genki is their favorite character(though, admittingly, he's crazy awesome)

To be honest with you, I just like the Saints no matter what. Whether a gang with good intentions, a gang lead by a psychopath like the Boss who ruthlessly murder who gets in their way or "corporate whores", I don't mind. As long as they wear purple, wipe out other gangs and kick ass, I don't mind at all.

The reason why I like Saints Row 3 a lot is because of all of the over the topness and crazyness. The game just pisses meh off sometimes because it's still pretty disapointing. I hated how SR3 had a short story and how V took out a lot of the customization, and how they made the boss go all soft, AND how they killed off the Gatman. I mean c'mon ju only get to kill one gang leader if ju chose the 'Save Shaundi' option, and Loren's death wasn't even that badass. I also really hated Steelport, hopefully they'll 'remodel' Steelport just like they did to Stilwater in Saints Row 2.

Admittingly, the short story is rather disappointing, but I kinda prefer it short. It's not a very complex, but not really simple story and personally I think people prefer blowing up stuff while being a green skinned dude in a purple miniskirt and bra, along with cat eyes and a pink beehive(Never seen a character like this, but I can bet it exists) than completing the story. I believe Volition was using a different engine for the game and it was unable to have as much vary as SR2, but I could be wrong. Kinda disagree with you about the Boss/Player/MC going "all soft". Sure, they're less power-hungry(after all, he/she/it wanted to take over Stilwater and got their wish.), cheerful(maybe because his friends haven't been killed for a few years before the game started?) and less "insane"(the Female Voice 1 I believe sometimes mentions she has a therapist), but they're still the Boss. Our lovably dickish, insane, sometimes a dumbass Boss. Though I agree with Gat's death being bullshit. A off-screen death for a popular character like Gat? Really? Though Zombie Gat is fucking hilarious because he's such a goddamn mindless killing machine(Though the fact he can't talk leads me to think Loren was serious when he mentioned he was gonna cut his "desrespectful" tongue from his mouth... Oh God Fridge Horror...) I think you mean the "Kill Killbane" option, unless you count Kia as a gang leader(though crazy ass bitch is a more believable term.). It was really wasn't too badass(Loren's death I mean), but you gotta admit it was hilarious. I think I probably one of the minority who actually likes Steelport. It isn't Stilwater, yes, but that was the purpose if you think about it; Stilwater is wide, Steelport is small. Stilwater is a (debatable) luxury even with the Saints, Steelport is a giant shithole and is dominated like a bitch in Safeword by The Syndicate. I like the contrast. Of course, with the Saints in charge, that might change... Feel free to disagree. :)

I completely understand about the new engine thing. There's been a pattern: Saints Row 1-Engine, mediocre, 2006; Saints Row 2, gameplay etc., best game I have played :D 2008; Saints Row 3- engine, great game, but disappointment, 2011. If this pattern is correct, then Volition is adding more to the gameplay and the story than the engine. This means that Saints Row 4 might be the best Saints Row out there since V is gonna be concentrating on the gameplay and small stuff. I didn't like Steelport because the city was too bland, all the buildings looked the same, and ju could only go in a couple interiors. I would've been happy with the map if there was a mall and a lot of buildings to go into. Oh yeah, remember that mechanic in Saints Row 2 that let ju pick almost anything up and beat the living shit outta someone with it? THAT HAS TO COME BACK. The reason why Saints Row 3 felt unpolished is because the THQ made V send the game out early because THQ was going bankrupt and needed the money. That explains all of the DLC, most of that stuff was already in the game like- the bling shotgun, Saints vehicles, Witches and Weiners, and the Halloween Pack, and the Money Shot Pack. If it was up to V, they would've put the rest of the DLC into each of the three mission packs, so we would've gotten our money's worth. Anyways, I'm not really pissed anymore about the DLC since I held back and didn't get any when got the original game, and got
