Since I haven't found a thread a felt it appropriate to post my SR3 fanart in I figured I may as well start one. Anywho... just like the title says, this is a more artistic approach to screenshots that I've worked on a bit. Please do feel free to post some of your own as well though, it'd be nice to get some others trying out the same idea ^^. Anyway, I've only got a couple to start with, but I'm working on a few more. (Although it'd be easier if the screenshots were actually in 1080p like I'm playing in -_-.)
Also, feel free to discuss anything about taking screenshots, how to get better ones, etc, etc. Edit: Reformatted my post so that the images are now links, so you don't have to use the annoying side scroll bar to see the whole thing. For full rez just click the image.

Yeah, it is pretty hard with how the camera works. It'd be cool if there was a 1st person mode like if you were holding the camera how you would IRL.

If you take the sniper-or the assaultrifle (the one with the 2x zoom) it is like 1st person but I know what you mean. It would be awesome to have a "real" ingame camera with zoom, ISO options and the whole stuff. It is especially difficult, to create the right lighting conditions. I often use the headlamps of the cars as "spotlight" but works not in any location. By the way, which prog. do you use if you rework your pictures? At last, two of my absolute favourite selftaken ingame pictures...

Ahh I hadn't though of the sniper rifle or using cars for lighting, thanks for sharing ^^. I use Photoshop CS3 to play with the pictures, though I really should upgrade to 5... lol.

Yeah, PS CS3 this I have thought to me, I also use this But I think an upgrade isnt necessary. At least for me not, I must border first with CS3 on mine bump. And besides I am glad I could share some "wisdom", this does not seem often I must say that I very often use the in game weapons to generate some special FX. The Mollusk launcher, for example, creates some nice light FX...

or the electric grenades...

or the molotov cocktails...

or the Shark-O-Matic...
or the RC-Possessor, with it one can smash the steering system of the car in stood...

This is why I also have so much fun in the photo mode. With a little creativity and "think laterally", one can make great pictures. The photo mode is really best in the whole play
