Seriously though what happens to all the people that only check in once in a while?
There may be a lot of forgotten email address casualties...

Will there be multiple forum templates to choose from? As in, one person may have it so he sees the forum and black and purple and another person has his set to black an orange, get what I'm saying?

Possibly.
I think V-Singular wants everything to be a pleasant surprise, meaning that the layout of the forums may possibly change. There's also a miniscule possibility that the forum update is to coincide with an exclusive look at... "Secret Project X". I doubt it, though.
Needless to say, this new forum update is worth getting excited over. I just hope that in the update the Information page which appears after a post is made gets removed.

I could be wrong, but I'm sure some of the forum veterans remember a change exactly like this when they switched from the SR1 forum to the SR2 forum, so I'm going to guess that this upcoming change will herald the coming of SR3.
Like I said, I could be wrong, it could be wishful thinking, or I could be dead right.
