is it possible for a disc to he so scratch up that it can affect the dvd drive. im asking this because I left my game in the x360 and the next day says disc unplayable and the disc has so many scratches.

Well it's unplayable because of the scratches. But I did have this problem with Crackdown. The day after I bought Crackdown, my DVD drive was saying that every disc was unplayable/unreadable.
 Did I ever tell you the definition of insanity?

yep ive had it over a year and a few months now i got it christmas 06! dunno how it hasent blown out even tho it takes me ages to play any of my games i think its dying slowly
