Aha thats exactly what I thought :) But yes the AUS release is uncensored, one of your fellow devs said the problem was going to be fixed before release & it has been. Thanks for confirming all of that :D

I believe it's the same disc, but there is region-specific differences in how the content is handled in some territories.
If I remember correctly, there was a bug in the Aus/NZ region that caused bodies to disappear, even though it wasn't required for ratings purposes, but that bug was fixed with a zero-day update. IMacMan or another mod can probably confirm that, since I'm not positive.
It might be that the original author doesn't have a Live connection or otherwise hasn't received that zero-day update.[/quote] Actually, it was fixed by submitting a slightly different version for release in Australia, which fixed the issue when played on Australian Xboxes. If you play the Australian release (not the US/UK), you will get the full body-staying experience.

This is happening to me aswell.
If this isnt fixed soon I am going to sell the game.
This along with the v-sync issues has got me thinking I dont want to play this game.
Its broken.
dead rising has none of these graphics issues and looks just as good if not better.

no tearing issues.
better looking cut scenes.
no major bugs like bodies dissapearing.
I havnt read a single post or thread or webpage saying they are fixing the body bug.
Do you know how insulting that is as a gamer who just bought a game?

But like most people, you'd rather get the game slightly cheaper, not support the AUS industry & then bitch about how insulting it is to have the bodies dissappearing. You do realise that at the last minute, Volition ran off & specifically created an Australian version so that us aussie gamers wouldn't have to deal with censorship issues and people without LIVE would be set, right?
You bought a version which wasn't ment for your country & now your bitching because it's different to your local release? Give-me-a-break!

The game was created by an American company, not an Aussie one...you would be supporting Australian retailers and suppliers by purchasing from Australia.
Plus there is a problem with the Australian 'industry', that's one of being uncompetitive. With Recommended Retail Prices of AUD$119.99 (US$90.50) of course there are going to people order from overseas to get the title for less than half that (Play-Asia).
Sure, the game can be found for AUD$99.95 (US$75.37) for limited times upon release, but that still doesn't compare to the much lower US RRP of US$59.99 (I'm sure you could find these for $49.99 in US retailers).
Anyway, I too purchased a copy of Saints Row from Overseas, and have been playing it on an Aussie Xbox 360. I've noticed the disappering bodies and it's a game-breaker.
Can you please release a patch to enable the bodies to stay longer Volition? It doesn't seem fair that the same exact material copy of the game will run properly/without disappearing bodies if it's played on an NTSC console, yet it doesn't on the PAL.
Thanks for your time.

Hear, hear. Since someone from Volition already mentioned that it was possible to fix this body disappearing issue in a 'zero-day update' , it shouldn't be that hard for the gurus at Volition to release a small update that resolves this issue for us Aussie gamers.
