how do i get my gamertag info up on my profile? and i havent got live yet, will this stop me from creating my gamertag with the same name as my profile?

yes. you have to have live in order to have a gamertag

thats not my question, my question is will i be able to create "LankMaster J" as my gamertag if i already named my profile on xbox.com "LankMaster J", or will it say that the name has been taken?

mabey if someone didnt take it already although i dont think i've seen that name on xbl before want me to test it for u ill go threw half the process of making silver and stop if it lets me use ur name dont worry i wont steal it

no it shouldnt then people would be stealing names like crazy from xbox.com if they knew people didnt have a G.TAG

hmm thats odd i searched ur name on mygamercard.net  is that urs from xbox.com??? because when u get ur xbox u might have to try account recovery inno thats wierd
